The 土木工程 curriculum builds upon a strong base of mathematics, physical sciences, engineering sciences, and humanities developed primarily during the Freshman 二年级. During the Junior year, students develop an understanding of the fundamentals of each specialty area of 土木工程:

• 环境工程
• 岩土工程
• 结构工程
• 交通运输工程
• Water Resources and Coastal 工程

The senior year focuses on the integration of more advanced knowledge in 土木工程 和设计. Student teams complete a comprehensive design project incorporating expertise from several CE specialty areas as part of our Senior Capstone Design Course. 令人满意的 completion of the 131-hour program leads to the degree of Bachelor of Science in Civil 工程.

土木工程 students must also take and make a good-faith effort to pass the Fundamentals of 工程 examination prior to graduation.

The ABM program allows full-time undergraduate students within two semesters of BSCE graduation at USA, who have a cumulative GPA of 3.至少在美国是0或更好 30 credit hours taken at USA), to earn MSCE degrees at an accelerated pace. 学生 registered for the ABM program may use up to six credit hours of graduate course work towards both BSCE和mce学位. Advising takes place during the two weeks before the first day of registering. Civil 工程 students select their advising appointments using 在南. 学生 should also receive an email from their Department or advisor with further instructions on how to make an appointment.
